After obtaining several quotes from various companies in the area, I chose Hometown Fencing for 2 reasons; because I had used this company earlier in the year for a smaller fence repair which was completed in a few short hours and secondly, Jacob was able to give me several choices for solutions to repair a much larger section of my old fence and assurance that the job would be completed in one day. True to his word, the work was completed in one work day, and since their schedule had slowed down some due to the weather, they came on the day I had called to schedule. Very satisfied with the finished product and would highly recommend this company.

I received several quotes for a split rail fence. After meeting and looking into Home Town Fence, I decided to go with them. We had a split rail fence with chicken wire installed on the back half of our acre. They got it done in 2 days. It is very nice and done well. I would use them again and recommend them. They install the post in concrete a couple feet into the ground so it isn’t going anywhere. They made sure we received the warranty from the supply company. They were competitive in price and their lead time was not as far out as their competitors. Very happy with Hometown Fence.

I had a great experience from start to finish with this team. The sales process with Jacob was easy - he came out to view the property and get me a quote quickly after my request. He was great with communication and the quote was ~$700 less than the previous bid from another company. The estimated start date was 3 weeks out, but they showed up 10 days after we got the paperwork signed. Louis and his team did a great job - gave me updates along the way and had about 70 feet of fencing and a gate installed within a day.I highly recommend this company, they did a great job

So, a little background. I don't hire contractors, EVER. In fact, this is the first time in any house I've owned, that I hired a company to do some work for me. I've built multiple fences at different properties I've flipped, and I know how absurdly cheap they are to build, rather than to pay someone to do it.That being said, I have so much going on this coming summer, that I bit the bullet (Cost) and hired these guys to build my fence, so that I could put my efforts elsewhere.First off, price...Like I said before, its absurdly expensive comparative to the costs, however... in Denver... contractors are very busy. They simply don't need your work most of the time, and a lot of them give you what they refer to as "Go away" prices. Ridiculously high prices, because they don't want the job, but... if you agree to that insane amount, of course they'll fit you in. HomeTown Fence on the other hand, gave me an estimate that was fully HALF of a few other quotes I got, and a full $400 cheaper than a 4th quote. So while its still crazy amounts of labor cost built in, its also the most reasonable fence company I could personally track down in denver. So while I hated paying for a thing I'm fully capable of doing myself, I at least found these guys to be at a level I was comfortable paying for. So, hopefully, that gives you some piece of mind. I didn't "Need" them to build it, and I found it to be "Worth" the ~$25 per foot.Now, lets talk service...I also snooped a bit in the first evening to see the type of work they were doing, which is obviously due to the fact that they're completing my chores for me, so I want it done correctly.The post holes were dug to. an appropriate depth from what I could see (I didn't see every hole) and they certainly set them with concrete. Some other reviews claimed they didn't use concrete, so I figure I should highlight that.The fence is well constructed and dead straight. It looks fantastic. They followed the community guidelines for it, and made it match all the surrounding fences etc. The pickets are the thinner type which is fine for how short the fence is, but I'd hope on a taller fence they would use a thicker picket, and seeing their work, I believe they would.There was a misunderstanding on the scope of work at my house, and it was likely the fault of both sides. However, ultimately I was the one who misread the final quote they gave me, and so really you could say it was ultimately my fault. The result in misunderstanding was to the tune of $250 extra, and instead, they made it right, took the hit, and just threw it in for me. It's refreshing when a company has ACUTUAL customer service these days. That's becoming more and more difficult to find. I was really grateful that they saw it for what it was... which is to say... it was a nominal cost to them to make me happy, but a huge benefit to the customer. This is simply acompany who puts the customer first, and thats worth 5 stars in and of itself.As someone who's built fences before, did I find anything wrong with their work?Basically no. There are a few nail heads that were "proud" (Sticking out) from the cedar. If you set the depth tiny bit below, cedar tends to eventually blow out and cover the nails, but... its really a handful of them that I see this on, and it's no big deal. The reality is that I'd encounter the same issue if I had built the fence myself. It's just that you're more critical of something when you're paying for it.So, at the end of the day. I gotta say... I really was impressed by both the service and the quality of the work. As someone who performs their own work 100% of the time, you're never going to impress me with the price, but... I can honestly say, that at the end of the day. the convenience of just making a phone call, and having a fence appear, built correctly, built fast, and looking great... was well worth the money. If you're an average consumer who's not handy, you will not at ALL be disappointed with these guys.
